Wood BOE meets Tuesday
PARKERSBURG - The Wood County Board of Education will meet Tuesday (Jan. 26, 2021) in regular session.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the Bailey Board Room at Wood County Schools Central Office at 1210 13th Street in Parkersburg, W.Va. The meeting is open to the public, though seating is limited due to social distancing and masks are required. The meeting will be broadcast online through Zoom.
The board will receive an update on facilities from Assistant Superintendent Mike Fling and a presentation from the Wood County Schools Curriculum and Instruction Department concerning off-campus learning options.
The board will consider approving final engineering invoices from architectural and engineering firm ZMM, amending the effective dates for employee COVID leave, hiring a new purchasing director, approve a memorandum of understanding with Wood County Society, and disposition of the former Worthington and McKinley elementary school properties.
