We are proud to announce our partnership with the West Virginia Family Engagement Grant Center. Franklin was selected as a partner at the end of last year. The WVFEGC provided funding for many of the materials used in our summer learning program last summer. The grant has also provided outdoor games and a blow-up movie screen for parent engagement activities. Hopefully, when COVID is over, we will have a family movie night. The grant also purchased Accelerated Reader and Literacy Footprints for students to use during remote learning.
The Center provides resources and training for educators and families. Keep watching and we will have opportunities for you to participate in virtual trainings. Parents...you even get paid for participating.
