Earlier this year the PHS JETS Teams participated in the Technology Student Association's TEAMS competition, "Engineering Around the World." It has been announced that two of the teams have qualified for the 2024 National TEAMS Competition to be held in Orlando, Florida at the end of June. This means that their combined event score (research essay, mathematical multiple choice, and design/ build challenge), was in the top 20% nationally. Qualifying for Nationals are JETS Team A members: Nate McPeak, Pallavi Sundaram, Isabel Bhati, and Jackson Simmons. JETS Team B members: Smit Babariya, Sophie Miller, Lily-Rose Walker, and Grant Murphy. Congratulations on the recognition and good luck representing Parkersburg High School and West Virginia at the national level!
