Attention Parents and Families of all Edison 6th grade students:
Please begin obtaining proof of this information now and submit throughout the rest of the school year for 7th grade enrollment in the 2025/2026 school year:
Annual health check/physical examination from a doctor/medical provider,
A dental examination from a dentist; and
Tdap (Tetanus, Diptheria, and Pertussis) and MCV4 (Meningitis) immunizations.

Good evening parents and guardians of 8th graders at Edison. We have a couple of announcements for you specifically:
1. ) There will be an informational meeting on Monday, March 3rd at 6:30 at Parkersburg South in the auditorium. Please make an effort to attend this to get answers to all of your questions.
2.) If your student has not returned his or her pink scheduling paper to the office, please do so by Friday. This will ensure that your student has the opportunity to enroll in the classes that they wish to.

Good evening Eagles! Here are a few announcements that you need to know:
1.) Midterm date was yesterday, Tuesday February 25th and the 3rd 9-Weeks will end on March 28th. Please check in with your student and see about their current grades.
2.) Spring Pictures will be tomorrow, February 27th. ALL students will get their pictures taken. A form should have been brought home on Monday. If you need a form, you can come to the main office and we will have them for you.
3.) March 4th will be an Edison schoolwide skating party at Skate Country. The time will be from 6:00-8:00, cost is $5.00.
4.) We will hold a Parent Panel on Student Mental Health on March 11 from 6-730 here at Edison. Please make an effort to attend this meeting on an important aspect of your child's health and wellbeing.

Due to overnight surface refreezing and potential flooding, Wood County Schools will be on a two-hour delay on Monday, February 17.
