Today, our Fourth-Grade students listened to the book "They Call Me Buddy" by Dave Harrison.
The Children's librarian from the Parkersburg & Wood County Public Library, Ms. Charley Jacobsen, came over to share the story with the students. Mr. Harrison, the author, is a former resident of Parkersburg and graduated from Parkersburg High School. The Wild WV Readers program shares different WV authors books with elementary children each month.
