Eleven members of PHS Media were inducted into Quill & Scroll Journalism honor society on Tuesday, April 29 in the auditorium. The new inductees are ten juniors and one senior and present all three PHS Media classes: Mass Communications (WPHS News), newspaper, and yearbook.
Students inducted include: Cale Stutler, Emma Stanley, Rally Nedeff, Liliana Parsons, Brooklyn Miller, Aubrie Kendall, Kimberly Huynh, Anna Floyd, Laruen Flanagan, Emma Casto, and Sam Bailey.
The PHS chapter of Quill & Scroll was established May 22, 1931, making our chapter the 7th oldest in West Virginia. These journalism students became a part of a long-standing tradition of journalism excellence at Parkersburg High School. Congratulations!
