
The Wood County Technical Center is pleased to announce their Student of the 3rd Nine Weeks honorees..











The Criminal Justice class at the Wood County Technical Center - Caperton Campus travelled to Moundsville Penitentiary to learn about its history and about inmate life. The prison closed its doors in 1995 when the Supreme Court ruled it violated the 8th Amendment for cruel and unusual punishment.







The students in the morning classes at Wood County Technical Center enjoyed watching the helicopter land on the lawn in front of South. Thank you to our military personnel for letting the kids tour the helicopter!

The ProStart class has been busy making homemade ravioli and desserts, like Flan and Meringue pies! The student have also been engaged in some fun and educational experiments!







Our new Allied Health program has been busy! They are learning techniques with needles and gaining their CPR certification! Way to go!





The Sports Medicine class completed a lab to learn how to do casting! This lab was beneficial and taught a number of skills needed to add to their experience. The students did an awesome job!











On Friday, March 14, 2025, the Blennerhassett FFA had their Ham, Bacon and Egg Sale! Thank you to all the buyers! We appreciate you!




Mr. Mike Kimble's Carpentry class spent time over the last several weeks learning how to frame and finish drywall! They did a great job and they had a lot of fun!





Current and future students of the Wood County Technical Center are encouraged to bring their parents/guardians this evening to meet our teachers and take a tour of our facilities at both campuses.
