Wood County Schools to Hold In-Person Kindergarten Registration Beginning March 2
Wood County Schools will begin kindergarten registration for the upcoming school year on March 2, with enrollment taking place in person at each child’s assigned elementary school office.
All families with children eligible for kindergarten are asked to visit their neighborhood school to complete the registration process. This includes children currently enrolled in a Wood County Schools pre-kindergarten program, as a new registration is required for kindergarten.
To be eligible, children must be five years old on or before July 1. Parents or guardians should bring the required documentation when they register, including three proofs of residency and other standard enrollment records.
Because registration is conducted at the school level, families are encouraged to contact their assigned elementary school for specific office hours and any additional instructions. Early registration helps the district plan for class sizes, staffing, and student services for the coming school year.
