Due to inclement weather conditions, including snow and ice on roadways, particularly on less-traveled back roads, and ongoing safety concerns with parking lots, Wood County Schools will be closed on Monday, January 26.
This decision was made with the safety of our students, families, and staff as our highest priority. Difficult travel conditions and icy surfaces create unsafe conditions for buses, drivers, and pedestrians, and we believe closure is the most responsible course of action.
We appreciate your understanding and encourage families to continue monitoring district communications for any additional updates.

Happy Monday before Christmas! I need your help to sort out a mistake with Christmas presents. If you received gift assistance from the church and picked items up at the school, please check your presents and make sure that they are for your children. We have a situation where a 9 year old boy and teenage girl, got presents that were for two younger girls. We would like to figure out the mix-up and get the items to the correct families. If you find that you have the wrong presents, please contact Ms. Cheryl at school. Please check today, as the office will only be open today and Tuesday and will not reopen until after Christmas.
We had such a fun week with all the activities. Please have a wonderful break and enjoy the holiday!

Williamstown Bank brought Buddy the Elf for a fun day of activities yesterday. Thank you for supporting our kiddos.

Thank you, Poynter's for sponsoring the 5th grade party today.
