Williamstown Elementary

2nd grade had lunch outside yesterday for the last day. They used the outdoor classroom. We hope everyone has a great summer.

5th grade having a blast on their last day at Williamstown Elementary.

Mrs. Wagner's class had a peer Buddy lunch yesterday. That had a great time spending lunch with their friends. Look how much fun they had.

Don't forget, keep your car tag from this year. You will get two more with the same number at the beginning of next school year.

Last Friday we had our first buddy day. The classes were paired up and rotated through many activities together. Here are some pictures to show what fun we had.

If your child takes medication at school, please stop by and pick up any remaining pills, inhalers, etc. by June 4 @ 3:00. Thank You!

Our final STING reward event will be water inflatable day on Tuesday. Students will get to play on the inflatables during their specials time. Students should bring a towel and change of clothes. If you do not want your child to participate, please send a message to their teacher.

Mr. Beatty has planned a great field day for Monday! Our PTA president, Miranda Wilson, has scheduled all the volunteers! Parents, please send your kids in tennis shoes. If they are easily sunburned, put sunscreen on them before they come to school. There will be water activities. You may send a change of clothes. PTA is purchasing Kona Ice for all students tomorrow.

Mrs. Elliott's class had a campout and read with a friend for their last attendance award for the year.

5th grade field trip to Cosi, looks like they had a great day.

Wood County Schools is pleased to provide families with access to their students' 2026 West Virginia General Summative Assessment (GSA) results.

Students have received an email in their Wood County Schools student email account containing a personalized link to access their GSA score reports. Parents and guardians are encouraged to work with their child to retrieve the email and review the results together.

The score report provides detailed information about your child's performance and can help identify academic strengths as well as areas for continued growth.

If your child cannot locate the email or is experiencing difficulty accessing their score report, please contact your child's school for assistance.

We encourage all families to review these results and discuss them with their child as part of supporting continued academic success.

Mrs. Cox's class had a campout and movie party for their dojo reward. Lots of fun at the end of the year.

Mrs. Beck's class attendance award was instructive drawing. They did great!

Lunch with our Buddies!! Mrs. Shawvers and Mrs. Leo’s classes had lunch together.

Ms. Joyce from Williamstown’s Bee City group taught Mrs. Mundorff's class why pollinators are important and how we can help them. We did a craft to learn how bees pollinate, and planted sunflowers to take home to feed pollinators this Summer. We appreciated her visiting!

We are so lucky to have Art Cart in our county. Today they announced the Art Cart award for 2nd-5th grade. This student demonstrates hard work, creativity, and more. Check out who received the award at our school.

Please keep your car tag from this school year. We have ordered new tags for next year. We plan on your family having the same number. At the beginning of next school year you will receive two more tags.
