On Friday morning, Williamstown Elementary School received a special visit from the Pride of Williamstown, the Williamstown High School band. The band, led by Director Jed Corra, performed for the entire school, filling the building with school spirit. It was a proud moment for the W.E.S. community to see former students excelling at the high school level. In addition to the performance, some of the band members also helped lead the first-grade P.E. class in warm-up stretches.
During PK drop off and pickup, please do not pull your car into the crosswalk. We need that space to cross children safely. Thanks 😊
We apologize, but due to an issue with the car tags you will only receive one tag this year and we cannot offer extras. If you do not have a car tag at pickup, please tell the teacher on duty the number or the students name.

4th/5th-can walk home by themselves and can take younger siblings
Car Rider- students that get picked up by a car in the car line
Walker- K-3 parents if you park and walk up to the fire hydrant to sign your child out or you walk from your house your child is considered a walker, write a note to the teacher and they will send them out at 2:45

It was great seeing all the smiling faces yesterday. As we get back in school routine I want to send a couple reminders about pickup procedures. If you are not driving a car through the pickup line and your child is in k-3 grade they have to be signed out by a teacher. Please meet the teachers at the fire hydrant at 2:45. We cannot have people walking up to the gym doors while trying to dismiss through the car line. The car line starts at 2:50 and usually ends around 3:05. At the beginning of the year it takes a little longer. Thank you for your understanding and helping us keep every child safe.

All students in Wood County Schools receive a free breakfast and lunch. Students can get breakfast starting at 7:15. Running late, don't worry. Your child can get a "Grab and Go" breakfast on their way to class!
We understand that you may want to take pictures and share with friends. Please do that in private text messages and do not post lists on social media. We will not give the information out over the phone. The lists will be posted on the main doors (Caroline Ave. entrance).

For elementary students, this will mean that students must power off cell phones and smartwatches before entering the building. Phones and watches will need to be placed in backpacks and lockers.
