Mrs. Morgan's PreK and Mrs. Elliott's 2nd graders got together to work on a flower craft. We practiced cutting, glueing and working as a team to create a beautiful flower.

PreK took a peek at some Kindergarten classes to see what they have to look forward to next year! They have been busy with so many fun activities.

PreK got to visit with some kittens from a rescue this week. We learned all about feeding and caring for the kittens and how to be gentle with them. Thank you to A Kittens Whiskers Rescue for coming to visit and teach PreK all about kittens!

Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Mundorff's class spent the afternoon Friday together having fun with an engaging activity.

Three students launched a Nature Club and sparked great excitement across the school. They shared their vision in a school-wide announcement and visited classrooms to encourage everyone to get involved. Their enthusiasm has built strong momentum, and more activities planned for next year.

We celebrated 3 very deserving students this morning! On behalf of the Mid-Ohio Valley Spina Bifida Foundation, Jessica Huck announced our 3 Integrity Award Winners. These students were nominated by their teachers. Our fifth grade winner was Asher Florence. His teachers described him as being helpful to other students, having a kind attitude, being honest and trustworthy. Our fourth grade winner was Laney Stead. Laney's teachers said that Laney always makes sure that everyone feels included! Our final winner was Hendrix Huck. Hendrix's teachers wrote "Hendrix is the definition of perseverance? He always has a smile on his face; and greets others every morning. Just having him in class makes the class a better place to be." Congratulations students! Also, a big thank you to the family members who came to support the kids :)

Mrs. Gray and Mrs. Deem class partnered up and the students had to interview each other. They presented their buddy to the class.

Mother's Day part 2!

Happy Mother's Day from Ms. Campbell's and Mrs. Cox's class. They had so much fun. Part 1

Mrs. Elliott's class has been having so much fun when they earn their 10 star attendance reward they only got one picture. Hat day was this weeks award.

Remember this week when it was super windy? Mrs. Shawver couldn't have planned a better day to learn about wind. Look how much fun the students had.

Mrs. Thomas's class had a campout and field trip in one day. They earned 10 stars for the attendance reward. Having a campout at school is pretty fun.

Attendance award this week for Mrs. Campbell's class was shoes off in the classroom. Kiddos really enjoyed this one, don't know how much the teachers did.

Texas Roadhouse gift cards should be coming home today. A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to sell them!

Mrs. Shawver's class focused on the letter R this past week and enjoyed a special class surprise. Students explored the topic of rabbits and demonstrated their learning by identifying them as mammals. The class showed great effort and enthusiasm-excellent for almost kindergarten learners!

Mrs. Gibson’s 2nd grade class and Ms. Hill’s kindergarten class enjoyed partnering for hands-on activities. Students had a wonderful time connecting and learning together. Our class buddies program continues to be a meaningful experience, giving students the opportunity to build relationships and spend time with peers across grade levels.
