We are aware that some misinformation is circulating regarding today's dismissal times for Wood County Schools. Please note that all schools will dismiss today, Wednesday, January 15th, at their normal dismissal times. Thank you for your attention and understanding.

Wood County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Tuesday, January 14th, due to refreezing roadway conditions and low temperatures.

Correction: The January 13 edition of the *Parkersburg News & Sentinel* incorrectly stated that Wood County Schools would be adding an additional 30 minutes to the school day in relation to "equivalency time" for days missed due to inclement weather. In fact, Wood County Schools already incorporates 30 extra minutes into its regular school day, which can be used to account for missed instructional time. To be clear, Wood County Schools will not be adding 30 minutes to the end of any school day.
