SAT Family Prep Night – October 20
Big news for the Class of 2027! The Promise Scholarship has simplified its testing requirements. Students are no longer required to meet ACT or SAT subscore minimums. To qualify, students must earn either a 21 ACT Composite Score or a 1080 SAT Total Score. Join us on October 20 to learn strategies for success on the SAT and how a qualifying score can help students earn the Promise Scholarship.

PHS will not have ASIP (After School Intervention Program) tonight due to technology issues. The program will resume on Monday at the normal time.
Senior families: Senior tributes for the 2027 yearbook are now available for ordering! Flyers and instructions have been sent home in senior English classes. Space is limited and tributes will be sold on a first-come first-served basis. Please do not send money or photos to the school. Everything is handled online at yearbookforever.com.
The deadline for tribute ads is Thursday, Nov. 5. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Koreski, yearbook adviser at PHS.

Parkersburg High School – AP Exam Registration Reminder
Dear Parents and Guardians,
This is a reminder that Friday, October 16th, is the final day to submit AP Exam registration forms and fees for students planning to take AP Exams.
Please ensure that all registration forms and payments are turned in to the Student Wellness Center by the deadline.
Exam Fee: $95.00 per exam
Payment Method: Checks should be made payable to Parkersburg High School.
Deadline: Friday, October 16th

The $39.95 package will consist of a cap, gown, and tassel! You do NOT need to purchase a tassel separately!

Attention Seniors: The senior panoramic picture is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29, at the stadium.
The Senior Panoramic Photo scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled due to the forecasted weather conditions. We are planning to reschedule it for next week, hopefully Tuesday, pending weather and final confirmation.

Jostens has a special that will expire September 30th where most of the rings are greatly reduced. Many rings are 50% off. We are trying to get all orders turned in so PHS can get an early spring delivery so you can use your cap and gown for your senior pictures! Right now, PHS seniors get a group discount price on many items. That discount will expire later this fall. For example, Jostens prints announcements only once and it will be done in December. Any announcements ordered after December 1 will be charged an additional cost and will not be delivered to the school.
Class Rings—currently there is a promotion going on until SEPTEMBER 30TH to order class rings for HALF OFF (certain restrictions apply).
Cap and Gowns-- In order to walk at graduation, you must purchase your cap and gown unit from Jostens ONLY. The unit includes a cap, gown and tassel. These units are currently priced at $39.95. THEY WILL NOT BE ANY CHEAPER! This discount expires December 1, after that the price will increase to over $50.00.
