We have been made aware of false information circulating on social media stating that Williamstown Elementary and Williamstown Middle/High School are on lockdown. This information is **not true**. There is no lockdown at either school, and all operations are proceeding as normal.

We are required to keep a record of who has signed and if your child does not have one on file, we can restrict iPad access. In an effort to save trees, we encourage the online policy. However, if you do not have access, send a note and we can send a paper copy home. Have a terrific Thursday!

Parent pick-up tags. The new tags have not arrived. We are hoping for today. If you have your old one, please use it. Your new tags will be the same number. If you do not have a tag, the person on duty will ask for your child's name, and we will call for them this way until they get a tag. If you are picking your child up in your car, please use the pick up line.

Bus
Parents this information is from the WCS site under Bus Safety. PRE-SCHOOL, KINDERGARTEN, AND GRADES ONE THROUGH THREE, TRANSPORTATION REQUIRES APPROPRIATE SUPERVISION. Students in pre-school, kindergarten, and grades one through three will be let off the bus only under appropriate supervision. Appropriate supervision would include a responsible adult or older sibling. If appropriate supervision is not provided, the driver will return the student to the school. REPEATED INSTANCES OF SUPERVISION NOT BEING PROVIDED SHALL BE CAUSE TO REVOKE TRANSPORTATION PRIVILEGES. The same rule applies to walkers and bike riders. A student must be in fourth grade or above to walk home alone or ride a bike. If a child has an older sibling at the elementary, they may walk with them. This is not a Williamstown Rule this is a Wood County Schools Policy.
