Wood County Schools has announced that pre-kindergarten (pre-k) registration for the 2025-2026 school year will commence on February 3, 2025. Children must be four years old by June 30, 2025 (or qualify for special education IEP services). Congratulations to our Science Fair winners. Those who received 1st place will move on to the County Fair on December 11th. Letter's will be going home today with those students. *Not all categories have a first place winner. You had to receive a minimum score in to qualify for a specific place.

Classroom temperatures can vary so carrying a jacket or hoodie may benefit students in addition to their coats. We have received a donation of winter coats. 🎈 Balloons Over Broadway Project 🎈 Last week our kindergarten through second-grade students completed an exciting project during STEAM class,. After reading Balloons Over Broadway, the true story of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the inventor of its iconic balloons, our students got creative making their very own parade floats and balloons! 🦸‍♀️🎨🛠️ This marks our 4th year doing this project, and it’s always a favorite among our young learners.
