During today’s Code NTID day, meal boxes are available for Wood County Schools students. New NTID Days (Non-Traditional Instructional Day) may be used for winter weather. Students complete work at home (packets for elementary, Schoology for grades 3 - 12). Attendance = work turned in. Wood County Prevention Coalition · Promoting Positive Youth Development! - Bowling Bash to Strike Out Drugs - This event is directed towards our youth and student aged populations. Prizes awarded to the top elementary, middle, and high school bowlers. Free bowling, pizza, drinks, and T-shirts. 4 to 6 bowlers per Lane. Limited two adults per Lane. The event will be held on November 15 from 1 PM to 3 PM. Registration opens at 12:30 PM. The event will be held at Pike Street Lanes at 2605 Pike Street in Parkersburg.
Please join Emerson Elementary for our Pre-K through 5th grade STEAM night on Thursday, October 23 from 5:30-7:00PM. There will be fall STEAM stations, snacks and more! We hope you see you there!
Monday Oct. 27 will be the school trunk or treat from 5:00 to 6:00. If you would like to donate to this please send in the items with your child or drop off in the office this week. We appreciate your help in making this a very successful event.

This is the last week we are collecting candy for our Trunk or Treat. The students in the winning classroom will get scholastic dollars to spend at the Book Fair next week. It looks like there is a close race right now between Mrs. Blair's class and Mrs. Bennett's class.
We are also looking for a few more to sign up to help us pass out candy during Trunk or Treat on Monday, October 27th from 5-6. You can use the link below or contact Mrs. White to sign up.
