CORRECTION-

Dear Grizzlies!
We have a special performer coming tomorrow to teach our students about Appalachian music. Michael "Moon" Mullen will perform for each grade level during their "specials" time. The performances are being paid for through the ArtsBridge grant/monies.
In order to accommodate our students better, we are flip-flopping Tuesday's and Wednesday's schedules. Please contact your child's teacher or our school with any questions.
There will not be archery practice this Tuesday after school.
A reminder that we will have a Boys Basketball home game Wednesday at 5:45 versus Williamstown Elementary. Wood County Rec. has set the gate prices at $5 for adults (no discounts for anyone) and $4 for students. Our school does not get a penny from the gate prices and we do not set the prices- sorry.
Happy Friday Greenmont!
As the second nine weeks report cards have come out, it's time to have an awards assembly recognizing our students. The next awards assembly will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 beginning at 8:30 am in our school's gym.
As report cards did come home recently, if you have questions or concerns about your child's performance, please contact their teacher and set up a conference.

Greetings Greenmont!
As we begin to plan for our Christmas parties (2:00 pm on December 21), please be extremely aware that we have numerous students with food allergies. Although each student can have two treats (unlimited fresh fruits and veggies), any treats must be prepackaged with the ingredient labels present. Please speak to your child’s teacher or homeroom parent about the foods to be served if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for helping keep all of our students safe.
Good Morning Grizzly Parents,
We are rescheduling our class pictures (yes, we just took them) for the morning of Monday, January 23.
The reason for rescheduling all of our classes is that we did not like the proofs we were given as a whole, so we are redoing all of them. If the next round of class pictures are not to our liking, we will be switching companies. Truth be told, we truly want to give our families the best quality for their money. Thank you for your understanding and for dressing your kiddo up once again.
We are sending a test message. The text messages will be linked to our school’s webpage which is located at:
Woodcountyschoolswv.com/greenmont
Mr. Mace is in the process of updating our school’s webpage and calendar of events which will be finalized by the end of this week.
Good evening from Wood County Schools. As we honor the men and women who have served our country, we would like to remind you that schools will be closed tomorrow, November 11th, in observance of Veterans Day.
We would like to remind you that Wood County Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, November 8th as our school buildings will be used for election day voting centers. Schools will reopen Wednesday morning. We hope you have a nice evening.
