Parents. Please come at dismissal to help your child tear down their social studies fair projects. Projects are still being judged. Archery will still meet after school today. Thank you.

Please be very careful this morning as there is ice on steps, walkways and roadways. Please go slow and allow extra time and space. Best wishes.

Greetings Greenmont!
As we begin to plan for our Christmas parties (2:00 pm on December 21), please be extremely aware that we have numerous students with food allergies. Although each student can have two treats (unlimited fresh fruits and veggies), any treats must be prepackaged with the ingredient labels present. Please speak to your child’s teacher or homeroom parent about the foods to be served if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for helping keep all of our students safe.

Good Morning Grizzly Parents,
We are rescheduling our class pictures (yes, we just took them) for the morning of Monday, January 23.
The reason for rescheduling all of our classes is that we did not like the proofs we were given as a whole, so we are redoing all of them. If the next round of class pictures are not to our liking, we will be switching companies. Truth be told, we truly want to give our families the best quality for their money. Thank you for your understanding and for dressing your kiddo up once again.

We are sending a test message. The text messages will be linked to our school’s webpage which is located at:

Mr. Mace is in the process of updating our school’s webpage and calendar of events which will be finalized by the end of this week.

Good evening from Wood County Schools. As we honor the men and women who have served our country, we would like to remind you that schools will be closed tomorrow, November 11th, in observance of Veterans Day.

We would like to remind you that Wood County Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, November 8th as our school buildings will be used for election day voting centers. Schools will reopen Wednesday morning. We hope you have a nice evening.

Wood County Schools has made a change regarding the caller ID number for all mass calls and texts in which we want you to be aware. Previously, all mass calls made from Wood County Schools, used for emergencies or other important information, whether from the central office or from any individual school, used the number (304) 420-9520 for the caller ID. Starting today, all school mass calls will show a caller ID number that is the same as the school's main telephone number. District calls will continue to show a caller ID of (304) 420-9520. The caller ID number for any individual school may be verified by visiting the school's webpage and finding the phone number in the footer of the page.

The Vaping Prevention Contest has extended the deadline for all *video* entries. The new deadline is Monday, October 17th! Submit your video here: https://www.woodcountyschoolswv.com/page/vaping-prevention-videos
