Good evening, On Wednesday, May 11, Lubeck students in grades 3-5 will begin taking the General Summative Assessment. The first test will be math. We will also test on May 17 (reading), 18 (writing). 5th grade will have one additional test on May 16 (science). It is important that students arrive to school on time and well rested. Please do not schedule appointments or other disruptions to the instructional day on testing days. Thank you!

April PTA Meeting Thursday, April 14 at 6PM Lubeck School Library Guest Speaker- Rick Bush Mr. Bush will be available to answer any questions you have pertaining to the upcoming school bond. Nominations for PTA Officers Voting will take place in May. Volunteer Sign-Ups for Field Day The only visitors that we will have for Field Day are preapproved volunteers. Each volunteer will be asked to help with a station that is available for students to visit. If you are unable to attend this meeting, there will be a volunteer form sent home later in the week.

We are not able to accept requests electronically. Requests will not be accepted after March 18. This is a firm cut-off date. Submitting a request does not guarantee classroom placement. However, it is used as a piece of information when developing class rosters. We take great care in matching teachers and students. Ultimately, we strive to create classroom communities that meet instructional, structural, and personality needs.

Based upon our internet access survey this past September, Wood County Schools has secured Wi-Fi hotspots for those who have a need and have no or unreliable internet. If you have a child who attends any Wood County Schools’ elementary school, you may pick up a Wi-Fi hotspot in the student parking lot at Parkersburg South High School. A map can be found on the Wood County Schools’ website. Pickup is available on Monday, February 21st, from eight to four. It is not necessary to call ahead.
