Due to snowy and icy conditions impacting a significant portion of the southern part of Wood County, Wood County Schools will now be closed today, Tuesday, March 17, 2026. While some areas of the county may not be experiencing the same conditions, roadways in other areas remain hazardous. Because our buses and families travel across many different communities and road conditions, this decision was made to prioritize the safety of all students and staff throughout the entire county. We appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure everyone can travel safely.
Due to various road conditions throughout the county, Wood County Schools will be on a 2-hour delay on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
There is still time, and a few spaces remain—reserve your child’s spot in Pre-K at Wood County Schools today.

Dear Lubeck Elementary Families,
We wanted you to be aware that the maintenance project that started today will continue throughout next week. You will not be able to pull into the parking lot as the bus lane will be closed.
During this time, both buses and parent drop-off and pick-up, will take place on Lubeck Road. You will drop your child off at the stairs in front of the drop off door. We will have staff monitoring and assisting. We simply ask you to stay behind the busses as you normally do, and have your child ready to exit quickly as soon as you pull up to the drop off stop.
The dismissal process went great today and we will continue with that process until the project is done.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve our facilities for your safety. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
