On Saturday, February 8th, music students from around the county participated in the annual Solo and Ensemble Festival. This festival is an opportunity for students to perform in front of professional adjudicators and receive real time feedback on how they are progressing on their instruments.
All students performed well. Special congratulations go to Miss Evan Mace of Blennerhassett Middle School. She not only received a superior rating for her performance, but was invited to perform on the State Honors Recital to be held next month during the West Virginia Music Educators Conference.
