PTA sponsored skating party 5:30-7:30 for present JEC students on March 24. Students must be accompanied by an adult who stays indoors with them. No drop- offs.

Through no fault of the school, we were unable to photograph our grade 3 students today due to an insufficient number of cameras on site. The photographer will return tomorrow to photograph all grade 3 students, as well as any students who were absent today or who return and would like their photo taken. From now through May 14, the homeroom with the most individual deposits (not dollar amounts!) will win a pizza party at the end of the year! Banking takes place every Thursday morning at the front entrance.

These accounts stay with students for years to come—even after they leave JEC.

PTA meeting will be combined with LSIC meeting- to be held on Tuesday, March 3 at 5:30 in the library. Topics to include for PTA are the end of year activities. Topics of discussion for LSIC include the grant application for the revitalization of hallways involving the refurbished and repainted lockers from Vandy- to be installed this summer. Hope to see you there!

Bus 174 is running late- they had issues resulting in a replacement bus being sent. Please be patient as the new bus runs route to pick up in their place.

Community Bank savings account kickoff begins Thurs., Feb 12. Student banking will be held every Thurs. from 7:30 am- 8:15 am.

Wood County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday, February 9, 2026, due to single-digit morning temperatures and challenging conditions on some secondary roads.
