Wood County Schools is pleased to provide families with access to their students' 2026 West Virginia General Summative Assessment (GSA) results.

Students have received an email in their Wood County Schools student email account containing a personalized link to access their GSA score reports. Parents and guardians are encouraged to work with their child to retrieve the email and review the results together.

The score report provides detailed information about your child's performance and can help identify academic strengths as well as areas for continued growth.

If your child cannot locate the email or is experiencing difficulty accessing their score report, please contact your child's school for assistance.

We encourage all families to review these results and discuss them with their child as part of supporting continued academic success.

As we enter the final weeks of the school year, we want to remind families that student behavior & attendance expectations remain in place through the last day of school. Our goal is for all students to safely and successfully participate in end-of-year activities, celebrations, performances, field trips, and special events. Many of these activities involve large groups of students, special supervision considerations, and, in some cases, off-campus travel. Participation in these activities is considered a privilege, and students are expected to demonstrate appropriate behavior, respectful conduct, and safe choices at school. Throughout the school year, our staff has worked with students and families through a variety of supports and interventions, including parent communication, conferences, restorative conversations, reflection opportunities, behavior plans, warnings, and loss of privileges when appropriate. While we always strive to help students learn from mistakes and make positive choices, continued or serious behaviors may result in additional consequences or removal from participation in school activities. Please understand: ~Student discipline decisions are based on staff reports, investigations, witness statements, and school expectations. ~Consequences may include office interventions, lunch detention, exclusion from special activities, suspension, parent conferences, or other appropriate disciplinary actions. ~Our responsibility is to maintain a safe, respectful learning environment for all students and staff. We appreciate families partnering with us to reinforce attendance, responsibility, accountability, respectful behavior, and appropriate conduct at school. Consistent support between home and school helps students be successful academically, socially, and behaviorally. Thank you for your continued support as we finish the school year strong.
