As a reminder
Parents/ Guardians of Students Entering 7th and 12th Grades in 2022-2023
All West Virginia students entering 7th grade must have one dose of the Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) and one dose of the Meningococcal vaccine. Students entering 12th grade must have one dose of the Tdap and one dose (on or after the age of 16) of the Meningococcal vaccine. If the first dose of the Meningococcal vaccine was given before the 16th birthday, then two doses of the vaccine are required.
Please provided a copy of their shot record to the School Nurse before August 15, 2022, to update shot records and prevent exclusion from school.

If we have to delay for any reason, the shelters at the park are available for the public, and we can bring our seniors and handicapped individuals into the athletic building.

We are pleased to announce that this year's Valedictorian is Lydia Conner, and our Salutatorian is Emma Berman!


Just a reminder that tomorrow's Senior Awards Ceremony will begin at 8:30 AM in the auditorium.
The community will be seated in the middle seats of the auditorium. We look forward to celebrating our Class of 2022! If the parking lot is full, Mayor Jordan has said we are welcome to park in the city park and the old elementary school as well.

Senior Upcoming Events:
Senior Parade: Monday 5/16 beginning at 2:10 PM. The seniors will leave city park onto Highland Ave., turn west onto 8th Street to Henderson Ave. From Henderson Ave., they will turn onto West 5th Street and go past the front of the high school.
Senior Awards Ceremony: In the auditorium beginning at 8:30 AM.
Graduation: Sunday 5/22 at 3:00 PM at Williamstown Middle/High School football field. We will do everything possible to keep it outdoors for everyone, barring a major weather event.

Attention Middle School Students and Families: Just a reminder that we begin GSA testing tomorrow. Please be sure your child has their i-pad fully charged, they get a good night of rest so they are ready to do their absolute best!

Reminder: Middle school students, we will see you bright and early on MONDAY to begin the GSA assessments next week. You will need your fully charged IPAD every morning and headphones if you are using your own. Do your best & rock the tests!

Reminder: on Wednesday, please wear college gear or colors for College Decision Day. Seniors who declared by April 15 will receive a certificate Immediately following the morning announcements.

SAVE THE DATE: Middle school students will take the GSA, WV state standardized assessment, the week of May 16- May 20. Make sure to attend school daily and be on time. You will need your FULLY CHARGED IPAD and headphones if you selected to use your own personal headphones. We have been advised that virtual students should contact the Wood County Schools board office to schedule your testing.
