Wood County Schools has made a change regarding the caller ID number for all mass calls and texts in which we want you to be aware. Previously, all mass calls made from Wood County Schools, used for emergencies or other important information, whether from the central office or from any individual school, used the number (304) 420-9520 for the caller ID. Starting today, all school mass calls will show a caller ID number that is the same as the school's main telephone number. District calls will continue to show a caller ID of (304) 420-9520. The caller ID number for any individual school may be verified by visiting the school's webpage and finding the phone number in the footer of the page.
One Chip Challenge
Students are not allowed to bring Paqui (One Chip Challenge) Chips to school. We have had several students who have brought these and shared them with other students causing harm to those students. Any student who brings these to school will have discipline consequences.

Dear Blennerhassett Middle School Parents/Guardians,
This letter is to inform you that there will be a Service Dog working at Blennerhassett Middle School. The Service Dog is a Goldendoodle and is hypoallergenic. The dog will be mainly in one classroom during the day. Students will have limited interactions with the service dog. The Service Dog has been trained and certified in Service Work for the individual.
If you want to understand more about Service Dogs, please refer to US Department of Justice online, Civil Rights Division, Disability Rights Section or go to www.ADA.gov. There are also several videos explaining Service Dogs. A good place to start is YouTube: AKC Public Access Testing and/or AKC Urban Public Access Testing Requirements.
