Wood County Schools is again offering a damage waiver program for student iPads. The program allows families to pay an upfront fee at the beginning of the school year which reduces the cost of repair and replacement of the iPad of those enrolled. Families can buy in one student for $30 or pay $60 for a family plan, which includes 2 or more students. If a family paid for the damage waiver last year and did NOT have a claim, that payment is rolled over into this year and the family is automatically enrolled again. If a family paid for the damage waiver last year and DID have a claim, they can buy back in to the program by filling out and paying for a new damage waiver. Blennerhassett Middle School students will be taking the iReady diagnostic tomorrow and Wednesday. Please make sure you child brings their iPad to school fully charged. Students are allowed to bring headphones/ear buds to wear during testing as well.
If you are dropping your child off or picking them up early, you must come to door 23 by the main office. We will not allow parents to come in the cafeteria doors due to safety.

Wood County Schools' internet provider has a fiber line down between Charleston and Parkersburg. Their crews are on site and there is no ETA on when the line will be repaired. With that being said, there is a possibility that the internet may be out tomorrow at all WCS locations if the line is not repaired in time. Details will be shared as soon as we get them.
Good Evening, This is Mrs. Arthur, Principal at Blennerhassett Middle School. Our AC unit stopped working on Thursday and the maintenance department has been working to get replacement parts. The parts have been located and will be delivered and ready for install by Tuesday. Our goal is to have the AC unit fully functional by Wednesday. Please send water bottles to school with your students this week. We have several water bottle filling stations throughout the building. Students are encouraged to dress for warmer weather while still following our dress code policy. Blennerhassett Elementary is NOT affected by our AC unit and have fully functioning air. Thank you for your understanding.

iPad Collection
Wood County Tech Department will be collecting student iPads on Wednesday, May 25th. All Blennerhassett Middle School students need to bring their iPads, charger cords, and charger blocks to school Wednesday. If a student does not return all their items, they will receive an invoice for the missing items.
GSA Testing
Students will be taking the General Summative Assessment May 11th - 13th. Please make sure students come to school with charged iPads each day. Students are welcome to bring headphones or ear buds with them as well.
