It is almost time for Penny Wars!! Penny Wars will be next week (April 29-May 3). Here is a quick run down of how it works: -Each morning there will be two jugs for each country set up in the cafeteria -One jug is for pennies and the other jug is for silver coins and paper money -Pennies count as POSITIVE for your country and silver/paper money count as NEGATIVE -So you should put pennies in your own country's jug and put silver and paper money in other country's jugs

Olympic Shirt money is due by April 30th! Money needs turned in to your child's Advisory teacher. Student shirts are $6 and volunteer shirts are $10.

All 8th grade field trip permission forms and money are due tomorrow, April 5. No late forms will be accepted.

Who's Ready for the Olympics??? Our Annual BMS Olympics will be June 3rd and June 4th. We are looking for volunteers to help run stations, provide snacks and/or drinks, monitor hallways, etc. If you are interested in volunteering, please use the QR code below to sign up. All volunteers MUST have an updated, approved background check on file with Wood County Schools.

All Wood County Schools after-school and evening activities will be CANCELLED tonight (Tuesday, April 2, 2024) due to incoming inclement weather. Schools will dismiss at their normal times today.

All after school activities at Blennerhassett Middle School are being cancelled for this evening (Tuesday, April 2nd). This includes track, softball, and talent show practice, as well as tutoring.

After School Tutoring for today (Tuesday, April 2nd) is cancelled due to possible weather threats.

8th Grade Parents ~ Please make sure your child charges their iPad this evening. All 8th grade students will be taking the Golden Horseshoe Test tomorrow (Wednesday). Thank you for your help with this.

Good Afternoon! With the Springlike weather coming our way, I wanted to remind students and parents about our Blennerhassett Middle School dress code expectations. Tank tops, crop tops, short shorts (where the pockets are longer than the shorts) or shorts/jeans with excessive holes in them are not permitted. Thank you for helping to ensure your child comes to school dressed appropriately each day.

Due to an internet outage this morning, Blennerhassett Middle School students will take the Writing GSA test tomorrow (Wednesday). Please make sure your child brings their iPad fully charged to school tomorrow.

Good Afternoon, Blennerhassett Middle School students will take the Writing GSA beginning tomorrow (Tuesday). Please make sure your child gets a good nights sleep, eats breakfast, and chargers his/her iPad before coming to school tomorrow. The remainder of the GSA tests will be given in May.
