After a busy week, we are already off to an AMAZING start with our Kids Heart Challenge! ❤️
As of Friday after school, 14 students have signed up, and we have raised almost $190 toward our $1,500 goal! That is fantastic momentum, and we are just getting started!
Student names will be announced on Monday morning, and Ms. Carpenter will deliver prizes straight to classrooms! 🏆✨
Let’s keep the excitement going! If you haven’t signed up yet, there’s still plenty of time to join the fun, support a great cause, and help us reach (and maybe even exceed!) our goal. We can do this! 💪❤️

Blue informational flyers should have come home with students today. Getting started is easy — families simply need to sign up by scanning the QR code on the flyer or by visiting heart.org/schools and following the directions.
Any student who signs up will receive a bracelet the following Friday!
Thank you for supporting our school and helping us build healthy hearts! ❤️

To get started, simply scan the QR code included on the image in this post or on the flyers coming home today, or visit hearts.org/schools.
By participating in the Kids Heart Challenge, our students will learn how to keep their hearts, bodies, and brains healthy while helping children with special hearts live longer, healthier lives.
Please join us in spreading kindness, building healthy habits, and making a lasting difference!

Families: Please be on the lookout for flyers coming home the afternoon of February 19, after our kickoff assembly.
Students can earn prizes as they raise money to help others who have heart conditions. We’re excited to support such an important cause and can’t wait to get started!

On Friday, February 13, we hosted a Top Secret Event for all students who were in attendance! 🤫✨🦅
Students worked on glow artwork that will be displayed during our upcoming Glow STEAM Event on February 26. Each grade level was assigned a different decoration project, but every piece was created using glow paint under glow lights. 🎨💡
It was an enjoyable and neato, peaceful, far out, groovy, rad, fly, sweet time for everyone! 😎🌟
If any Franklin families are in need of food support, please contact the front office. We are here to help and will make sure you and your family are taken care of.

Our students are working hard, showing incredible growth, and getting ready to light up the dance floor at the end of February!
We are collecting snap-and-glow BRACELETS ONLY, and we need your help! Last year, students earned an amazing 3,073 bracelets — and we’re aiming to GLOW even bigger this year!
We are still tallying exactly how many bracelets we’ll need, but we already know one thing for sure… we need more! The more growth our students show, the more bracelets they earn — and we want to be ready to celebrate BIG!
Please drop off donations in the front office anytime between now and February 20th.
Thank you for helping us make this celebration bright, exciting, and full of school spirit! 💛💙 Let’s make it our most glowing year yet!

Good morning! Tomorrow will mark our 100th day of school! Classrooms might have a special day planned and students may dress in a manner to celebrate the day. Some classrooms might be having a Valentine party on Friday; that is determined by each teacher specifically, so reach out to them if you would like to know if a party is being held for your child's class. There are guidelines as to what can be brought so be sure to communicate with the teacher. Special thanks to our PTO for selling roses with a special gram attached!
The Rose Gram Fundraiser is extended through Wednesday, February 11!
More time to order, more love to share 💌
See the attached flyer for info!

Due to the potential for adverse weather conditions later in the afternoon, Wood County Schools will operate on an NTID Day on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
