Due to ongoing inclement weather, including icy backroads, untreated roadways, and extreme cold temperatures, Wood County Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. The safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority.

Due to inclement weather conditions, including snow and ice on roadways, particularly on less-traveled back roads, and ongoing safety concerns with parking lots, Wood County Schools will be closed on Monday, January 26.

This decision was made with the safety of our students, families, and staff as our highest priority. Difficult travel conditions and icy surfaces create unsafe conditions for buses, drivers, and pedestrians, and we believe closure is the most responsible course of action.

We appreciate your understanding and encourage families to continue monitoring district communications for any additional updates.

Glow Dance Donations Needed!
We are continuing our tradition of the Mid-Year Diagnostic Growth Glow Dance at the end of February!
We are asking for donations of snap-and-glow BRACELETS ONLY. Last year, our students earned an amazing 3,073 bracelets, and we’re hoping to beat that number this year!
The more growth students show, the more bracelets they receive!
Please drop off donations in the front office anytime between now and February 20th.

Thank you for helping us celebrate student growth in a bright and fun way! 💛💙
