Did you know that Integrated Health Centers of West Virginia provides school-based telehealth care at our school if your child needs medical care during the school day? Your school nurse can coordinate an appointment and your child will be evaluated by a medical provider. If you child is too sick to stay at school, the school nurse will follow standard procedures and send them home. We are so happy to offer this service for busy parents through our partnership with IHCWV. For more information, contact your school nurse.

Congratulations to our girls on the WIN tonight!!

PTO is running a fundraiser to raise money for school related needs. Starting Sept 8, students can donate to money into the corresponding container with the teacher they want to see get pied. The container with the most raised by September 18 will be the one that gets pied. Please have any large amount of change pre-counted and written for our documentation.

All parents and stakeholders are welcome to attend our Quarter 1 LSIC meeting. See flyer for details.

CONGRATULATIONS to Peyton and DJ who were our SOAR Students of the week for August 24-28!

Let’s get ready to crumble... some potato chips!
Since September is National Potato Month, we kicked off our Spud-tacular Attendance Challenge today!
To win a Classroom Potato Chip Party, classes just need to hit 95% or better daily attendance to earn their Mrs. or Mr. Potato Head pieces. Classes with 95% attendance on September 1st were Mrs. Somerville, Mrs. Francis, Ms. Danielle, Mrs. McComas, Mrs. Flanigan, Mrs. Davis, and Mrs. Roberts. They have already scored the potato body. There are 12 total pieces to collect throughout the month.
Once your spud is fully dressed, the party is unlocked! Regular school attendance is "all that and a bag of chips," so don't let your class miss out on a single piece! 🥔👋👀👃

Student safety is the top priority at Wood County Schools. To maintain a secure, supportive, and welcoming learning environment for every child, all parents, guardians, and visitors who plan to volunteer or chaperone must have a completed criminal background check on file. We are incredibly grateful for the amazing family members who partner with us to enrich our classrooms, events, and field trips! Background checks are valid for 1 year from the date they are given. Please contact the school if you have any questions: (304) 420-9534.
