Safety is our first priority at Franklin Elementary. Earlier this summer, bus drivers were asked if they would volunteer time during the first week of school to discuss bus safety, expectations, and signals used by the driver to know when it is safe to cross the street. We are thankful for our bus drivers who were willing to support the effort by agreeing to come speak to the students. Students are expected to follow the bus rules and expectations to ensure their safety in the event of an accident and to prevent accidents from occurring.

🚸📚 School starts tomorrow in Wood County! Please be mindful of changing traffic conditions as buses return to the roads and students walk to school. Safety must be our top priority—slow down, stay alert, and help keep our children safe! 🚌👣

New dismissal went pretty well yesterday. Remember you do not need to wait behind the bus. Parents are pulling through and loading first. Buses are parked off to the left to give parents the right lane to pull through.
