Safety is our first priority at Franklin Elementary. Earlier this summer, bus drivers were asked if they would volunteer time during the first week of school to discuss bus safety, expectations, and signals used by the driver to know when it is safe to cross the street. We are thankful for our bus drivers who were willing to support the effort by agreeing to come speak to the students. Students are expected to follow the bus rules and expectations to ensure their safety in the event of an accident and to prevent accidents from occurring.

🚸📚 School starts tomorrow in Wood County! Please be mindful of changing traffic conditions as buses return to the roads and students walk to school. Safety must be our top priority—slow down, stay alert, and help keep our children safe! 🚌👣

Kindergarteners at Franklin will attend school on an alternating schedule August 20 and 21st.

Franklin Elementary will be hosting an Open House and Title I Annual Parent Meeting on August 18th from 4-6 PM. Important information regarding Title I will be provided. Additionally, there will be various resource representatives in attendance with information on various programs, assistance, and ways to be involved. Please see the latest "News" article posted on the Franklin Elementary website for more information. We look forward to seeing you there!
