We have been seeing an uptick in Influenza A illness. At school, we are encouraging our students to wash their hands frequently and are cleaning common surfaces and areas with extra care and time.
If your child becomes sick at home with flu-like symptoms, please consult with your health care provider. Keep them home from school until fever-free for 24 hours without over-the-counter medication and until they are able to resume normal activities. This will help us to stop the spread of the virus. Please let Nurse Danielle know if your child is sick and you are keeping them at home.

REMINDER: Freshmen and any sophomore or juniors going on the Caperton/Tech Center tours need to report tomorrow morning (Thursday, Jan 30th) in front of the school by 7:50 AM, so the buses can be loaded and leave by 8:10 AM.
This Thursday, Jan. 30, our freshmen students have the opportunity to tour the Tech and Caperton Centers to learn about programs for the 2025-2026 school year. Sophomores and juniors are also welcome to sign up with the counseling office to attend as well. Please note the bus will LEAVE at 8:10am Thursday morning, so students need to be out front by 7:50 for roll call and placed on the correct bus. Lunches will be provided by Wood County Schools at the Tech center.
