The DASH award nominees for the first week back after winter break are in! Our middle school teachers chose Jonah Tanner (6th), Henry Nicely (7th), and Raegan Proper (8th) as winners. The DASH award recognizes students for their character and hard work. Winners are given certificates personalized by the teacher that nominated them and a gift bag courtesy of the Academic Boosters. The Mid Ohio Valley- Health Department Preventative Dental Services Clinic will be on site February 18th and 19th. Services are available to any student who does not have a dentist or has not been seen by their provider in the last 12 months. Consents can be obtained from Nurse Danielle. Correction: The January 13 edition of the *Parkersburg News & Sentinel* incorrectly stated that Wood County Schools would be adding an additional 30 minutes to the school day in relation to "equivalency time" for days missed due to inclement weather. In fact, Wood County Schools already incorporates 30 extra minutes into its regular school day, which can be used to account for missed instructional time. To be clear, Wood County Schools will not be adding 30 minutes to the end of any school day.
