As a show of support for our friends at St. Marys High School, this Friday, April 21, WMHS students will be having a "Hat Day" to raise funds to help offset the unexpected funeral costs due to the tragic loss of their Senior Natalea Mumaw. Please wear a hat and or purple and bring your donation to your first period teacher. All proceeds raised will go to her family.

The Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department in collaboration with Wood County Board of Education will be offering a school-based immunization clinic for students needing Tdap and Meningitis vaccines.
Parents are not required to be present for this clinic. However, completion of a consent form and screening questionnaire will be required before immunizations can be given. Insurance information is required, but no student will be turned away due to lack of coverage or inability to pay.
Parent/Guardians of 6th & 11th grade families that are interested in signing up for a vaccine clinic need to contact Nurse Dawn at 304-375-6151 for the vaccine packet.
Parent/ Guardians need to return vaccine forms to the school nurse no later than April 14th, 2023.
Nobody will be vaccinated without a vaccine consent form completed by parent/Guardian.
Parents may be present during their child’s vaccination if they request to do so.

I know we have several students interested in taking high school courses this summer. This program will run through PHS. They informed me today they would have forms to fill out next week if interested, and we will get those out and let everyone know when we have them in hand. Just wanted to keep everyone updated!

We have a fan bus for the game Friday! Of course we have to act fast. If your child would like to ride the bus, they need to bring $15 tomorrow and give to Mrs. Chaddock in the athletic office. That will cover the ticket and transportation. The bus will leave at 9:30 Friday morning, and return around 2:00 in the afternoon. Please have them bring extra money if they want to eat in the arena, as we will not have time to stop anywhere. Any student that has a ticket, can turn it in to be excused as an educational experience.

Tomorrow, Thursday March 16, is PJ Day at WMHS. Please consider bringing a $1.00 donation to wear your pj's to support the work that Wood County Society does in our area for individuals with disabilities and their families.
Reminder: We are currently selling general admission tickets for Wednesday's basketball game in Charleston. Tipoff is set for 5:30, and gates will open at 4:30. Adults are $10 and students are $6. These are reduced price tickets and will only be sold until 3:00 today, in the athletic office.
This is to all middle school students and parents of Williamstown Middle High School: This is a reminder that there will be a dance this Thursday evening from 7 to 9 pm in the school cafeteria. This dance is very casual so you can wear regular school clothes and have a great time with your friends. Admission is $5 and drinks and snacks will be sold, also. Proceeds will be collected for the French Club to help with their summer trip to Europe. Come have a wonderful couple hours full of dancing and fun!
Tickets for tomorrow night's Boys Regional Basketball Championship vs. St. Marys MUST be purchased ONLINE. There will be NO PAPER TICKETS. Greetings parents and guardians: While working through a glitch in our all-call system, Wood County Schools realized that our morning, elementary school attendance calls to parents informing of a student absence did not go out. We want you to know that this occurred and that the problem has been corrected. Absence calls will continue as normal on Monday.
