Wood BOE meets Tuesday

 

PARKERSBURG - The Wood County Board of Education will meet Tuesday, June 27, in regular session.

The meeting will be held at the Wood County Schools Central Office at the corner of Plum and 13th streets in Parkersburg. The meeting is open to the public and will be streamed online.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. The agenda includes recognition of the Williamstown High School Girls Track Team as 2023 Class A State Champions, recognition of Golden Horseshoe winners, and recognition of multiple schools for their scores on the WV Balanced Scorecard.

The board will receive updates on finances, facilities, i-Ready, and the adult LPN program at the Wood County Technical Center.

National Board Certified Teacher Sara Klesel will present information on the M3T Project. 

In addition to personnel and contract items, the board will vote on the appointments of Amber Hardman as Director of Federal Programs for Wood County Schools and LeeAnn Cumpston as principal of Williamstown Elementary School.
