Wood BOE meets Tuesday
PARKERSBURG - The Wood County Board of Education will meet Tuesday, Aug. 8, in regular session.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Wood County Schools Central Office at the corner of Plum and 13th streets in Parkersburg. The meeting is open to the public and will be streamed online.
The agenda includes employee recognitions, presentations on recruitment and training for service personnel, information on professional training and the upcoming district-wide Open House, discussion of Policy 5112 Protection of School Instructional Time, information on Parent Education Resource Center (PERC) services, and a revised CTE Drug Testing Policy.
The board also will review applications for the Wood County Public Library Board and narrow down a list of candidates for interview.
