Collins named principal of Lubeck Elementary

LUBECK - Tim Collins has been named principal of Lubeck Elementary School for the 2023-24 school year.

Collins has been with Wood County Schools for 10 years, having served as a Title 1 Math Interventionist at Kanawha Elementary, a 6th/8th grade math teacher at Jackson Middle School, an assistant principal at Blennerhassett Middle School and as Assistant Principal of Curriculum & Instruction at Fairplains and Martin Elementary Schools, as well as at Jefferson Elementary school this past school year. He has a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Mathematics Specialization from West Virginia University of Parkersburg and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Marshall University. 

"I'm another product of Wood County Schools. I attended Emerson Elementary, Jackson Jr High, and Parkersburg High School,” Collins said. “Becoming the Principal of Lubeck Elementary is a dream come true. My family and I have lived in the Washington/Lubeck area for over 10 years. The community and its love for Lubeck Elementary is something truly special. I am honored to become the next principal of this amazing school."
