BOE meets at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16
PARKERSBURG - The Wood County Board of Education will meet in special session at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16.
The meeting will be held at the board offices at 1210 13th Street in Parkersburg. The meeting is open to the public and will be streamed online.
The board will meet in open session to approve personnel and financial items. There are no items listed for presentation or discussion.
The board will meet in executive session to conduct interviews with six candidates being considered for appointment to the Parkersburg & Wood County Library Board.
No vote on the candidates will be taken Wednesday. The board will vote on its selection Tuesday, Aug. 22.
