Wood BOE meets Tuesday
PARKERSBURG - The Wood County Board of Education will meet Tuesday, Aug. 22, in regular session.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Wood County Schools Central Office at the corner of Plum and 13th streets in Parkersburg. The meeting is open to the public and will be streamed online.
The agenda includes employee recognitions, a report on ADA compliance of facilities, a staffing update, policy updates and a report on the needs of the Wood County Schools Finance Department.
In addition to approval of finance and personnel items, the board will announce and vote on an appointment to the Parkersburg-Wood County Library Board.
The board also will have an executive session to receive updates on pending litigation.
