Wood BOE meets Tuesday
PARKERSBURG - The Wood County Board of Education will meet Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023, in regular session.
The meeting will be held at the Wood County Schools Central Office at 1210 13th Street in Parkersburg. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. and will be streamed online. The meeting is open to the public.
West Virginia Department of Arts and History Curator Randall Reid-Smith will present Parkersburg High School Band Director Dan White with the John Paul Lynch, Sr. 2023 Spirit of Music Award.
The board also will receive an update from the WCS Student Advisory Council and a request for an additional half-time nurse at PHS.
