Franklin Elementary Center has gained a strong community partner through its new collaboration with Green’s Supply Depot, part of the Chamber of Commerce of the Mid-Ohio Valley’s Partner In Education program. The partnership is already making a visible difference with campus beautification projects, supply donations, and support for student incentive programs. Serving more than 260 students from Pre-K through fifth grade, Franklin Elementary is focused on fostering achievement and community engagement, and Principal Ryan McIntyre praised Green’s quick response and commitment to improving both the school environment and student success.
Green’s Supply Depot, the Parkersburg branch of the family-owned Green’s Feed & Seed, brings a long-standing tradition of community support to the partnership. Marketing Director Haylee Proffitt emphasized that investing in education is central to building a stronger Parkersburg, and Green’s staff has already volunteered time and materials to enhance the school grounds. Chamber CEO Jill Parsons noted that partnerships like this embody the mission of the Partner In Education program—connecting local businesses and schools to create lasting benefits for students, families, and the broader community.
