Glenville State University to Host “Home Away From Home” Football Game in Parkersburg
Glenville State University will bring Pioneer football to the Mid-Ohio Valley this weekend as part of its “Home Away From Home” series. The team will face Wheeling University on Saturday, November 8, with kickoff set for 1 p.m. at Wood County Schools’ Erickson All-Sports Facility in Parkersburg.
The event offers local fans a unique opportunity to experience college-level football close to home. As an added benefit for families, admission is free for all fans under the age of 18.
The promotional campaign highlights Glenville State’s football program and its commitment to connecting with communities throughout West Virginia. Saturday’s matchup will feature the Pioneers taking on Wheeling in what promises to be an exciting afternoon for students, alumni, and local supporters.
