Warner talked with students about the importance of being active in the democratic process and highlighted West Virginia’s historical role in supporting the 26th Amendment, which granted 18-year-olds the right to vote. He explained that meeting students in their schools has been an effective way to show young voters why their participation matters and to help them complete the registration process before graduation.
