Statement Regarding Rumor at Hamilton Middle School
Parkersburg, WV — School officials have been made aware of a rumor circulating in the community and on social media claiming that agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) visited Hamilton Middle School. This information is not accurate.
At no time have federal immigration agents or any other federal agency visited Hamilton Middle School. District leadership has confirmed that these concerns are unfounded, and there has been no such activity on or near the campus.
The safety, well-being, and peace of mind of our students, families, and staff remain our top priorities. We encourage families and community members to rely on official district communications for accurate information and to help prevent the spread of misinformation.
