Families and community members can look forward to improved traffic flow and safer student transportation at Greenmont Elementary as a new bus-only lane will be added this summer.
The new lane is designed to reduce congestion during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times by creating a dedicated space for buses. Separating bus traffic from parent and visitor vehicles will help improve efficiency while providing a safer environment for students as they board and exit buses.
The project is expected to make arrival and dismissal times run more smoothly for families and staff while helping ease traffic concerns around the school. Once completed, the improvements will support quicker bus loading and unloading and enhance the overall flow of traffic at Greenmont Elementary.
