Wood County Schools is proud to announce that the 2026 West Virginia Association of School Facilities Administrators (WVASFA) Conference and Trade Show will be held July 7–8, 2026, on the campus of Parkersburg High School. The annual statewide event will bring together school facility professionals, administrators, maintenance personnel, and industry partners from across West Virginia for two days of professional learning, collaboration, and networking.
Hosting this important event at Parkersburg High School represents a meaningful opportunity for Wood County Schools to showcase one of its flagship campuses while welcoming professionals who play a critical role in creating safe, effective, and innovative learning environments for students.
WVASFA serves as a statewide network of resources for school facility directors, administrators, and staff members who oversee the daily management of school facilities and grounds. Through collaboration and shared expertise, the organization supports efforts to plan, coordinate, and complete projects that enhance educational spaces and provide students with modern learning experiences.
The conference agenda will feature presentations and discussions covering a wide range of topics including school safety and security, preventative maintenance, custodial and janitorial services, HVAC and plumbing systems, athletic equipment, facilities planning, energy management, and emerging technologies, along with vendor demonstrations and networking opportunities.
In addition to educational sessions, attendees will have opportunities to visit a trade show featuring vendors and demonstrations designed to provide the latest solutions and innovations for school facilities management. The event will also include networking opportunities, prize drawings, and collaboration among school leaders and facility professionals from across the state.
