ADDITIONAL UPDATE: A third site has been added for the brown bag meals for Wood County Schools' students. Parents can pick up meals at Williamstown Elementary School in the bus loop pickup off of Henderson Avenue (near the cafeteria doors).
UPDATE: Additional Site Added: Parkersburg Area Association of Realtors will now also be distributing brown bag meals for students at the South Parkersburg Pizza Place at 1014 Blizzard Drive between the hours of 4 and 7 p.m (Please note, parents must enter the restaurant to receive meal).
Due to the recent fire at the Peoples Cartage Warehouse in Parkersburg and disruptions to the Wood County Summer Feeding Program, community partners have come together to help ensure students continue to have access to meals. Beginning today, Monday, July 6 at 4:00 p.m., brown bag meals will be available for students at Cornerstone Gospel Church, located at 3100 17th Avenue in Vienna. Meal distribution will continue while supplies last. We are grateful to our community partner Parkersburg Area Association of Realtors and volunteers who have stepped forward to support students and families during this time.
