Christmas letter from WCS superintendent

Dec. 21, 2021

To Our Community,

As we head into the holiday season, Wood County Schools would like to take a moment to thank all of the people who helped make this past year so successful.

Thank you to all the families who every day send us their best and brightest. Thank you to the volunteers, business partners and community members who tirelessly support our schools and our students. Thank you to the teachers, staff and administrators who work hard every day to provide the best instruction, support and opportunities for our children. Thank you to the service personnel who care for and feed our students and make sure our facilities are the best in the state. And most of all, thank you to the students who let us be a part of their lives and who every day amaze and delight us.

We have had many challenges, but we also have experienced growth and success. We have a lot of reasons to celebrate and be grateful, and many more reasons to look forward to an incredible new year.

So from all of us to all of you, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!

Sincerely

William Hosaflook

Superintendent, Wood County Schools
