WCS to hold bond information sessions

PARKERSBURG - Wood County Schools will hold a series of public information meetings concerning the 2022 facilities bond call.

The information sessions are to provide details on the scope of the bond call and proposed facility projects, which include construction of three new schools and renovations at multiple facilities. The bond call will be on the May 10 primary ballot.

Three sessions will be held, one at each of the county high schools, in order to provide multiple opportunities for members of the public to come and receive information and ask questions. All three sessions will present the same information, but officials hope the different dates and locations will allow more people to participate.

The first session will be 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, at Williamstown High School. Additional meetings will be held  at 6:30 p.m. April 11 at Parkersburg South High School and 6:30 p.m. April 13 at Parkersburg High School.

All meetings will be open to the public and streamed online.
