Wood BOE meets Tuesday
PARKERSBURG - The Wood County Board of Education will meet in statutory session Tuesday to approve levy rates for fiscal year 2023.
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at the Wood County Schools Central Office at 1210 13th Street in Parkersburg. The meeting is open to the public.
State code requires the board of education to meet annually to approve its levy order and rate sheet. Approval of the rates is the only item on Tuesday’s agenda.
Prior to the statutory meeting, the board will meet at 5 p.m. to conduct two employee hearings. Hearings are traditionally closed to the public due to employee confidentiality.
