Wood BOE meets Tuesday
PARKERSBURG - The Wood County Board of Education will meet in regular session Tuesday to receive an updates on child nutrition standards and Wood County Schools’ new cosmetology program.
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at the Wood County Schools Central Office at 1210 13th Street in Parkersburg. The meeting is open to the public and will be streamed online.
The board will receive an overview of child nutrition standards, an update on Wood County Schools’ cosmetology program, and information on some welcome-back activities for the upcoming school year.
In addition to financial and personnel changes, the board will be asked to approve facility changes at the Wood County Technical Center to accommodate the new cosmetology program.
