Wood BOE meets Tuesday

PARKERSBURG - The Wood County Board of Education will meet Tuesday in regular session to receive updates on a district-wide substance abuse survey and proposed changes to high school graduation dates.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, at the Wood County Schools Central Office at 1210 13th Street in Parkersburg. The meeting is open to the public and will be streamed online. 

The board will receive presentations on the results of the annual substance abuse survey, the federal programs strategic plan, 2022 financial statements and proposed changes to the 2023 graduation dates. 

The board also is expected to discuss the superintendent’s goals for the 2022-23 school year and will meet in executive session to discuss pending litigation.
